Hey, thanks for being here!

I’m Paula, the creator of ai!culotte, I do almost everything you can imagine. From buying fabrics, elastics, threads, needles, pattern paper, and a very long etc.



 




También sueño, imagino , dibujo y llevo a cabo la idea hasta el final. Me encantan los colores, las texturas, mezclar diferentes materiales para darle a mis piezas un aire romántico, divertido, alegre y también un poco retro.


		
 
	
 
	

			
		



	

		

			
			

		

	



	

		

			


I absolutely love handmade things,  the processes of making and create things by hand, the “behind the scenes” and knowing how and where the magic begins. 


This love comes from home, to see my mom makings beautiful clothes for us, measuring, cutting, sewing. From my grandmother Mada who recycled and reused everything and turned it into a bag (crocheted with plastic milk sacks), making clothes for my dolls with cloth scraps or a little hat for a ceramic figurine (with a soda cap), nothing was thrown away, and everything was reused. Following that example I always try to reuse, generate as little waste as possible.










		
 
	
 

	

		

			


That is why when I cut the fabrics I have very little waste since even the smallest pieces are useful for the culottes gusset. 


I am the mommy of two divine little ones that grow so fast! And working on my project also allows me to be closer to them.
