Hello, thank you for being here, for reading me and for sharing your time with me. In this corner of the blog I will be unravelling ideas and showing you the creation processes that give life to ai!culotte lingerie happy and unique.

Today I want to answer a fundamental question: Why does this brand exist and why did I create it?

From “waste” to lingerie with a soul

I have been working as a fashion designer for many years. Before focusing 100% on underwear, I designed women’s clothing collections. But there was something that broke my heart: the waste of tissues.

Every time he cut a production, there were scraps of beautiful fabrics that ended up in the trash. I couldn’t allow it. So I started experimenting, using those leftovers to create the first culottes. What started as an exercise in sustainability became my passion: making happy, fun and unique underwear.

My three pillars: Unique, Fun, and Happy

1. Unique (like you)

ai!culotte was born of individuality. I started by sewing each bib shorts one by one, combining fabrics instinctively. Although today the brand has grown, we maintain that essence: our classic bib shorts are never the same as another.

Although we no longer only use our own cutting scraps, we now rescue stocks of fabrics from other companies to give them a second life. It’s our way of embracing upcycling and circular fashion.

2. Funny (a color dance)

I have fun creating. For me, sitting down to combine fabrics, textures and colors is like a dance; a mixture of rhythm and harmony. That joy is impregnated in the seams of every garment you wear.

3. Happy (the engine of everything)

Making ai!culotte is one of the things that makes me happiest in the world, along with being with the people I love and… Playing the ukulele! (I promise to tell you that story in another post 😉). I firmly believe that when a garment is made with happiness, that energy accompanies you throughout the day.

ai!culotte is not only a brand of artisanal lingerie in Barcelona; It is a commitment to a more conscious consumption, where design is not at odds with ethics.
